what an absolute joke To have a lounge and small cupboard taken almost 600$ the amount kept increasing I would NOT recommend this service it's a total rip-off this organisation should be ashamed of the price they use STAY CLEAR donate elsewhere

Their website clearly states pricing is based on cubic meter volume, but in reality, they do not measure anything properly. In our case, we had 7 items — all regular shapes (square/rectangular), making volume easy to calculate. The actual volume was around 9 cubic meters. However, on the day, the team simply loaded the truck, took a photo, and someone over the phone decided it was 16 cubic meters, without any proper measurement. When we questioned this and asked them to follow their own pricing policy, we were met with resistance and told they charge based on “truck load,” which contradicts their advertised method. After arguing, they “reduced” it to 13 cubic meters — still significantly higher than actual. We ended up paying about $600 + GST extra. It felt like a take-it-or-leave-it situation since it’s a one-time service, but this approach raises serious concerns. If this is happening regularly, it’s a very dishonest way of doing business. I would strongly advise others to be cautious and clarify pricing methodology in writing before booking.

It was a great experience dealing with 2nd Life. We had to clean out my aunt's apartment as she had gone into aged care. The team at 2nd Life were so helpful and reliable. We packed up what we could and they took everything away. I am sure a lot of families will benefit from the furniture, clothing and electrical items that we donated. Yes, we had to pay to have everything removed, but it was wonderful service. Highly recommend.
