About two months ago, I engaged the team to trim our hedge after seeing a number of positive reviews. I provided photos outlining the scope of work and accepted the quote, which seemed on the higher side, though assumed it reflected a reasonable amount of labour. However, the job was completed in approximately one hour, including waste removal, which was well below what I had expected. I did mention at the time that the work was completed very quickly given the fee quoted. While I understand that disposal can add to the overall cost, I recently spoke with my neighbour’s gardener out of curiosity and asked for an estimate to trim and shape the hedge. I was surprised to find their quote was less than half of what I was charged (based on two workers). I understand that I may not be a regular client, however, based on this experience, I won’t be engaging the services again and recommend others obtaining additional quotes.
