Very happy with the whole experience from Aussie Hybrid Solar! Had a Longi solar panel and Sofar battery system installed and we couldn't be more pleased with the result. The customer service was great from start to finish, always responsive and helpful throughout the process. I’m really glad I chose Aussie Hybrid Solar (AHS). They are genuinely different from other companies. I visited their office before making a decision, and it really showed me the difference in quality and professionalism. With over 17 years of experience (since 2009), their capability is clear. They’re also involved in projects with University of New South Wales and government-backed initiatives, which gave me a lot of confidence. Their engineers designed a customised solar + battery system based on our home, and everything was explained clearly. The pricing is also very reasonable — in this market, very low prices often come with risks, while higher prices don’t always mean better results. We’re very happy with the outcome and would definitely recommend AHS to others.

Aussie Hybrid Solar were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. The installers were tidy and neat, the good old fashioned tradies really do still exist!! They turned up right on time, walked us through the whole process in clear, simple terms, then just got on with the job. We were able to relax in the room while they worked outside with no disturbance at all. They even looked after our dogs and made sure gates were closed and everything was safe. What really gave us confidence was their promise: the brands they recommend, they take full responsibility for. That meant a lot to us, especially with battery systems, and it genuinely gave us peace of mind. The whole process was very professional — from on-site measurement and system design, to installation and final setup. The installation team was experienced, efficient, and clearly knew what they were doing. After everything was completed, AHS even followed up with us, which you don’t often see in this industry. The system is working great, and our boss was genuinely impressed and said we made a wise choice. Overall, a very reassuring experience and highly recommended.

Updated: the electrician came and changed the switch and very patient answering my question. However the defensive customer service and not welling to provide hypothesis when issue happens, really frustrate customers. Installed the minimal wire and damaged the wall. When asking to inspect an issue, as the solar shut itself down when full sun at lunchtime, rather than cooperate to help fix but trying to blame the battery installer. My ask is to make the solar work as it designed to. Not stop working when solar is at the maximum. The way you approach customers, even with other reviewers is arguing back on the spot using partial information. AI generated could be wrong but factual. 1.5mm wire for solar inverter?! I emailed and called many times. Each email is 1 day delay in response. You could just return a call and explain everything. Simple response would be “we understand your concern, we have ABCD approach. $330 should be upfront for inspection cost and will could refund if our fault. If identified was other issue, we could provide guidance and help to resolve your issue.”

Unfortunately, after giving them what I wanted, they proceeded to tell me BULLshit about how I can't do it. Their reasons were wrong and showed total lack of knowledge. I would not recommend this mob because they are tell porkies.. I did not buy from them, they said that they cannot sell any more than a 10kw system as that was limited by the electric mob... thats wrong, they told porkies. The 10kw is the limit of export, not the limit of system size... they do not know the facts and just tell lies. I now have a 24kw single phase system, just as I wanted. and NOT bought from this useless business who tell lies.
