Austral Build were the subcontracted builder on our apartment renovation and the experience was extremely disappointing. The project was slow from the start and very poorly organised. Timelines were missed with little to no communication, trades came and went inconsistently, and the site was regularly left messy and unsafe. Most frustrating of all, they have failed to return to complete the remaining works, despite repeated attempts to follow up. Being left with an unfinished renovation is unacceptable and has caused significant stress and disruption. Some of the common area tile were damaged by one of the trades and this is yet to be fixed, I also know from speaking with one of their contacted trades they owe a large some of money to him. What was meant to be a 3 month renovation is fast becoming 6 months. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Austral Build to anyone looking for a reliable or professional builder.
