I recently had a granny flat built by Brickwood Homes and overall, I couldn’t be happier with the result. The quality of the finished product is excellent, and I genuinely love the space they’ve created. The whole team was fantastic to deal with — Kavya, Jack, Amanda, Alex, Michael, and Geoff were all switched on, professional, and kept me updated at every stage of the process. Communication was consistent and clear, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. A special mention to the foreman, Ray — if you get him on your project, you’re in very safe hands. He is extremely knowledgeable, clearly knows his trade inside out, and takes real pride in his work. At handover, he went above and beyond, pointing out details I wouldn’t have even noticed and making sure everything was in pristine condition. Anything that needed attention was promptly fixed, which I really appreciated. The only downside for me was some unexpected costs around soil removal, and the exterior site clean-up could have been better. That said, these were relatively minor compared to the overall experience and final outcome. All in all, I’m very happy with Brickwood Homes and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to build a granny flat.
