Installer was Domanic. He's professional in his approach and workmanship, and a carpenter by trade (not a handyman). He even came out to my house to inspect what the job looked like, double measured everything, and even went through what we'd ordered and explained this to us. This turned out great, because what we'd asked for in-store wasn't 100% correct on our order. Domanic picked up the error. In store was good to deal with, and that guy even came out and measured things before we signed off on it. Re the Doors Plus order itemised form you get, it MUST be better. eg; you get their items number, and a bit of a description of what it is. Doors Plus may know and understand it but not necessarily the customers. After the item number, they should include a full written description of what the item is, so there's no doubt as to what you asked for/ordered. It need only be a line or two. From time of ordering to installation took roughly 3½ months... realise its got to be made up, but a shorter period would be a lot better. I believe our items were stock, not specially made for our job.

The start of the engagement was a little unusual, and not what we'd have expected from similar companies. But the timeframe for installation, despite being planned for a few months time, was able to be brought forward a couple of weeks which helped with completing our renovation ahead of our overseas guests arriving to stay which would have made it awkward. The onsite carpenter was excellent, was diligent, professional, cleaned up as he worked and the installation went smoothly and didn't take that long for 7 doors. The doors are of a high quality and we are pleased with the results. Thanks guys.

Comms left alot to be desired. First quote has incorrect items in it which inflated the price. When we called to give the measurements of our order, so that we would have the doors delivered in time to avoid fees for installation, the person on the end of the phone did not take the dimensions, order the doors, or really do anything he should have. Service was very poor.

Terrible customer service. Sent an email after seeing online that they can fit doors of any size, for a reply saying yep come in to the store and we will sort it out. Went to the store and after waiting 30 minutes for someone to even come and help me, he basically said he doesn’t think there’s anything they can do. I told him about the email I received and he said he would wait till the manager came in to get in touch with me. I never heard anything more despite sending a follow up email. Disappointed you wasted my time, I had given you measurements in the initial email, if you couldn’t do anything why waste my time to come in to the store! And maybe change your website so it doesn’t say you can install many sizes.
