Firmus Building - Custom Home Builder Sydney

We are a cleaning company and recently had the opportunity to work with Firmus Building after they completed a renovation project. I wanted to leave a comment to acknowledge how well they finished the job and how clean they left the site for us to carry out our part. We have worked with many construction companies over the years, and you wouldn’t believe the mess some of them leave behind. For example, glue residue on glass can be extremely difficult and time consuming to remove, and we often have to charge the owners extra because of these avoidable mistakes. Firmus Building, however, took the extra care to tape and cover the glass and window frames properly, which made a huge difference. I have nothing to gain by writing this ,I simply want to express my appreciation and respect for their excellent workmanship and attention to detail.

Where should I start? I was looking for someone to handle a simple interior renovation, and because I wanted to keep costs down by choosing my own furniture from IKEA, I needed a builder who was flexible and reasonably priced. It felt impossible, most builders in Sydney were either charging way too much or simply not interested in small projects like mine. By the end of August, I was honestly ready to give up. Then I came across Firmus Building, my local guys. They didn’t mind the small scale of the job, and they delivered exactly what they promised everything was completed by the end of November, just in time for Christmas. So that’s why I’m here writing this review: to confirm that yes, they really did what they said they would. And I’m genuinely happy with my home!

I’m a complete amateur when it comes to renovations, so I simply followed my designer’s recommendation and went with Firmus Building and I must say, it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Chris and Daniel are incredibly knowledgeable and were patient throughout the entire process. They took the time to explain everything clearly and offered alternative options to help me save on costs. Since this was a little investment property, I was working with a tight budget but didn’t want to compromise on quality. Having the builders themselves walk me through the details and show me where I could reduce expenses without affecting the final outcome was something I truly appreciated. I’m absolutely thrilled with the end result, and I’m already looking forward to working together on the next project!
