Customer Review – Garage Door Repair of Sydney A few days ago, my garage door got stuck unexpectedly around 8 PM. It was a stressful situation for my family and me, so I searched for an emergency repair service and found Garage Door Repair of Sydney, which advertises 24/7 availability. When I called, the representative quickly said a technician would arrive within one to two hours, but the conversation felt rushed and unprofessional. After an hour and a half, around 10 PM, I received a call saying the technician’s van had broken down and that he could only come the next morning. I had no choice but to wait, leaving my garage door open overnight — which made us feel unsafe due to our valuable equipment inside. The technician arrived the next morning at 9 AM. He was very polite, explained each step clearly, and replaced the garage cables. However, the total cost exceeded $950 — $350 for less than an hour of labor and $600 for two cables. When I called the company later to ask about the high cost, they claimed it included an emergency service fee, even though the service was not provided that night. Overall, my experience with this company was disappointing. The communication and customer service were poor, and the pricing felt unreasonable. I rate this company 2 out of 5, solely because the technician himself was friendly and professional.
