I’ve never written a negative review about any company before, but my experience with Interactive Solar has been extremely disappointing. They were very friendly and responsive while I was considering installing with them, but once the installation was completed, their customer service and communication dropped off significantly. I’ve had ongoing issues with a faulty Redx battery and had to repeatedly request service visits. Eventually, they agreed to replace the battery, but that’s when things became even more frustrating. I made numerous phone calls trying to follow up, only to be given inconsistent information and what felt like one excuse after another. At one point, I was told they couldn’t provide an installation time because the technician was “on the roof” and the battery was “in his ute,” which didn’t make much sense. After all the back-and-forth, and after a two months of contacting them, they finally arranged for someone to install the replacement battery — but no one showed up. Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience. I expected much better after the initial sales process, but the lack of communication, reliability, and follow-through has been very disappointing. Follow up March 25, 2026 — Another failed attempt to replace the battery. I was assured the owner would personally pick it up and have it installed by March 25, but that did not happen. I’ve now been told there’s no clear timeline for the replacement, and it appears the wrong item (an inverter instead of the battery) was going to be picked up. This level of miscommunication, lack of follow-through, and poor reliability is extremely disappointing. Thank you for your response and for clarifying your position. However, I’d like to address a few ongoing concerns from my side. On Tuesday, 24 March, I attempted to contact your team six separate times by phone to discuss this matter, but unfortunately received no response. I have provided a screenshot as proof of these call attempts. This lack of communication has been a significant source of frustration, particularly given the urgency of resolving the issue. While I appreciate the explanation regarding the weather delays and the confusion around the battery collection, clearer and more proactive communication throughout this process would have made a substantial difference. From my perspective, I was left without updates and had to follow up repeatedly to understand what was happening. Additionally, I’ve noticed that communication has only become more responsive after I raised a negative Google review. While I’m glad to now be receiving more consistent replies, it is disappointing that it took that step to prompt engagement.

I dealt with both Bianca and Aram whom were both very helpful in explaining the various solar system parts when I called. We live on the Northern Beaches and this company is over an hour away at Campbelltown and they installed top quality panels for a 8.8kw system with an 8kw Fronius Inverter with panels equally shared on both sides of our roof. The installation was excellent, and the system has been performing flawlessly since Feb 2024 and the same identical system was more than $6000 cheaper than northern beaches recommended companies. One of these northern beaches companies even tried selling us a superseded and underpowered inverter (5kw) so it could be overclocked! That is an enormous difference and proof since building my house since 1984 that everything is dearer on the northern beaches and always better prices from out west. The boys even relocated 2 huge whirlybirds we have on the roof for no extra cost and utilised some spare tiles I had aside incase they required them so to have a prefect install. You can do your own firmware updates online very simply and there is nothing to monitor as the inverter does it all for you. We have received our first zero bill which should also continue throughout the summer. We are so glad to go on recommendation from family out west and highly recommend this great company with extremely competitive pricing for top quality panels and inverter requiring no "bells and whistles" and are honest and up front about everything and any doubts or questions you seek. Update October 2025... Interactive Solar also did an equally impressive installation at my mums house. Great service and excellent workmanship.
