Jays Air Conditioning

I've been using Jay's Air Conditioning for over 4 years for both maintenance/repairs and two new installations at our home and can unreservedly recommend them. They have always been prompt to respond (particularly for emergencies in hot weather) and had the forethought to do preliminary diagnosis via phone to ensure they had parts required for any repairs that were required. The first installation was a smaller split system in 2022 for a room that could not be serviced by our existing ducted system. They went through pros and cons of various systems and capacity for the area to be serviced and then installed the system in a day. This system has provided excellent cooling / heating ever since. The second was in early 2026 replacing our 20 year old fully ducted system which had 2 breakdowns within 3 months. We fixed the first but the second was going to be quite expensive and from experience at our previous home, we knew it was time to just replace the entire system as we were likely to have an ongoing series of expensive parts failures. Ben from Jay's once again went through our options and we decided on a system with slightly greater capacity which has saved us on running costs due to the newer technologies available. The installation took 2 days, went smoothly with the technicians being good natured, knowledgeable and ensuring we understood how to best use the new system. They also took a lot of care to ensure that dust and mess was contained and completely removed at the end of the installation. Jay's is a family owned (Father and Son / Jay and Ben) business with long standing employees. The same person (Mick) who installed our split system was also part of the two man team (Mick and Noah) who replaced our ducted system three and a half years later.

If you are looking for an honest, reliable and thoroughly professional company then Jays Air Conditioning is the company. I needed an old unit removed and my first quote was from a large company. Their tradie was prompt and claimed they were an honest and transparent company. Their quote was three times higher than Jay's quote. So if you want authentic and honest work then I would strongly recommend you try Jays first. Don't be fooled by those companies that charge low call out fees as they simply make their profit on the job. Whereas Jays will be fair and transparent. I cannot recommend highly enough ! An absolute pleasure dealing with this company and their staff.
