Suchit did an incredible job on our upstairs Pilates studio flooring. The amount of work that went into removing the old surface was next level. We had layers of rubber and grass turf, all stuck down with glue on top of glue on top of glue, and he handled it without cutting corners. His work ethic and attention to detail really stood out throughout the whole process. The new hybrid flooring looks unreal and has completely transformed the space. It’s clean, modern, and exactly what we were after for the studio. Couldn’t recommend Suchit highly enough. If you want someone who actually puts in the effort and delivers a quality finish, he’s your guy.

Filled in the details via an instagram ad for supply and install. Got called by a bloke called Alex who was like you need to sort your own supply, I only do install. Asked about a quote or estimate to which he really wasn’t interested to give me any numbers and then blurted out $100/m2 for hybrid flooring install. For reference, supply and install quotes I’ve gotten for hybrid flooring from specialist stores are all under $100/m2. Daylight robbery and horrible customer service!

We had a relatively small carpet replacement job (10 sqm). Other service providers insisted on minimum laying charges. Suchit from Jim’s Flooring (Campsie) quoted a reasonable price and was helpful with a couple of requests relating to accessability needs. Raj did a great job with the installation. He was friendly and efficient. From enquiry to quote to site visit and installation the process was completed in a short space of time with responsive communication from Suchit. We would recommend.

It is rare to find two tradies in Sydney who are passionate, knowledgeable, take such pride in their work and still charge a reasonable amount for their services. We came into contact with Suchit and Sanjay through Jim’s Flooring after a burst hot water tank ruined most of the flooring in our apartment just before we moved. They came in, measured the place and provided a few samples for us to choose from. After discussing the need for a quick turnaround because of our moving date coming up, they were able to remove the old flooring, cut the new flooring to size, fit the floorboards and trim all within a day. Following this experience, we were confident in asking them to replace the carpets of our new apartment with floorboards. Because of the type of flooring used in the new building, it was difficult to match in shade, size and still be of respectable quality. Despite this, Suchit reached out to multiple suppliers and would bring samples over in the evenings and provide his recommendations until he found one we were happy with. Once this was decided and an installation date was booked in, both he and Sanjay arrived in the morning and worked diligently until the job was done. I would highly recommend Suchit from Jim’s Flooring to anyone who is looking to install new flooring.
