Greg was extremely helpful from start to finish and always took the time to answer our questions and guide us through any issues we had along the way. His communication was excellent throughout the build, and he made the whole process much smoother and less stressful. Overall construction quality was good, but communication can be challenging as too many people get involved during the process. Make sure all meetings and discussions are confirmed in writing or followed up with an email/message straight after the meeting. Double check every document, variation, colour selection, upgrades, inclusions, and invoices to make sure nothing is missing or changed without your knowledge. Be prepared for a few surprises in the beginning and keep regular follow ups throughout the build. Site costs can also go beyond expectations, so keep extra budget aside for unforeseen expenses and variations during construction. One important point to be aware of is site access conditions before handover. if you haven’t chosen downlights. there may be no electricity or lighting on site, making it difficult to walk through safely. Basic items like lights or even gloves are not always provided, so be prepared and bring your own if needed during inspections. Also ask clearly for the official construction start date and calculate timelines from there, especially if handover gets delayed beyond the expected timeframe. Overall happy with the final result, but better communication and coordination would make the experience much smoother

We experienced some initial hiccups with Lily Homes due to staff turnover, which led to delays during the pre-construction phase. However, since then, our experience has been very positive. In the design and colour studio there was a great range of high-quality options, and the team were incredibly helpful during the meetings and subsequent emails to confirm our choices. They provided real guidance and helped us choose colours and finishes that worked really well together. The customer service team have been excellent throughout the process. Communication has been clear, consistent, and proactive, with regular updates and clear next steps sent every week. Our construction supervisor was an absolute pleasure to work with. He is genuinely so kind, highly knowledgeable, and is always willing to answer any questions we had. He was also very quick to address anything we raised during site visits, which gave us a lot of confidence. Thank you to the whole Lily Homes team especially Santina, Stefanie, and Dean!!
