We had a fantastic experience again at O’Brien Autoglass Penrith, today. We have had 2 windscreens replaced here previously, both times due to flying stones on rural roads. On each occasion the booking process, onsite service, & quality of the replacement were excellent. The most recent replacement was only 2 weeks ago. Over the last weekend, the car was parked in a hotel underground carpark & ducting running overhead leaked a sticky white material on the new windscreen. I took the car into Penrith O’Brien Autoglass to ask if the new windscreen glass had any coatings or film on it that could be damaged by solvent type cleaning liquids. Grant, the Manager served me & said to bring the car straight into the workshop & he & Josh, one of the technicians, worked their magic on the screen for over 10 minutes & got it back to brand new. They then opened the bonnet, put in washer additive & filled the washer bottle. No charge. I hadn’t made an appointment & was only dropping in to ask their advice & they just fixed it on the spot for free. Now that is fantastic customer service. I can’t recommend this business highly enough. Thank you Grant & Josh. Legends!!!

Extremely poor workmanship and very disappointing customer service from the Penrith branch. After O’Brien replaced the rear window of my Volvo, a large amount of broken glass was left inside the tailgate. Every time I opened or closed the boot, I could clearly hear glass pieces moving around inside the panel. This should never happen if the job is done properly. I had to take the car to a Volvo dealer to have the tailgate professionally cleaned to remove the remaining glass and prevent potential damage to the tailgate mechanism. When I contacted O’Brien to request reimbursement for the dealer’s cleaning cost (which was only necessary because their job was incomplete), they simply refused. Leaving broken glass inside a vehicle after a repair is unacceptable and shows a lack of care and professionalism. Even worse was the refusal to take responsibility for fixing the issue they caused. I would strongly recommend checking your vehicle very carefully if you use this branch. Based on my experience, the quality control and accountability here are extremely poor.

Extremely professional service both in the workshop and on the road. Quickly, honestly assess the damage to your windscreen as to whether it is repairable, or that you need a new windscreen, they spell out what needs to happen clearly, concisely, they book you in to get the job done and the job is done in the time that they tell you. They can help you to put the claim through insurance if necessary and tell you what the procedure is. They try to upsell you on Bosch wiper blades which are quite expensive ($56 each plus GST) for mine compared to the OEM or aftermarket blades even if you buy them at Supercheap or wherever. I would be that you check elsewhere before you say yes to replacing the wiper blades. Bosch wiper blades are a very good brand

I went into Obrien’s Auto Glass Penrith for a front Windscreen today on a Pajero. I was greeted by Technician Lachlan that preformed the work and I was very impressed with the professionalism and quality of work that Lachlan had provided. I would definitely recommend this Branch for any work required. Top notch service, thanks again Lachlan.
