Amazing experience on the sale side and on installation. However, if your system breaks down, you’re virtually on your own. I’ve now got the stage of phoning every day to hear another excuse as to why I was not contacted and why progress hasn’t been made. Subsequent to this the owner took it upon to rectify the situation. My advice is reach out to him when the system fails.

When starting the process of getting a battery installed I was provided with three reputable companies from SolarQuotes. Two of them engaged me via email and phone calls but didn’t do a site visit. RenewCo Solar took the time to book in a site visit and their sales/presales person Rhys was excellent. He knew the product, rules and installation challenges and listened to my requirements. He then took that on board and provided a competitive quote which I knew would not have any surprises as he understood all of the details of my installation. When the recall occurred with SigEnergy he was quick to call and advise of what the situation was and what could be done. Although the installation moved into 2026 RenewCo Solar honoured all prices and government subsidies. Installation was lead by Corey who again took into account my requirements and ensured the team did a clean install. He took the time to explain the details of each component and how it all connected to my existing solar panels. Further, the company founder Matthew came onsite to buy the team lunch, a sign that he values his employees who are critical to the company’s success. Not withstanding the SigEnergy recall delays which RenewCo Solar could do nothing about I would highly recommend them.

Had a great experience with renew co solar they installed my sig energy battery and solar panels on my roof. The team were lovely and had a great service and were very responsive with their sales team they planned all of the dirt or any marks off my walls and also used a blower to blow not just my garage out but my whole driveway This team goes above and beyond and I would definitely would recommend going with this business!

My system is not working above 40% efficiency but it seems impossible to get someone to come and inspect it to effect repairs. The company sends phone calls to what sounds like a call centre. I need a technician, not a PR service.

Mitch was fantastic throughout the pre-install and signup process, taking the time to explain everything clearly, provide multiple quote options and help us choose the right setup for our needs without any pressure. The installation itself was seamless, with Korey and his team doing a great job on the day. Everything was completed professionally, neatly and with minimal disruption. What has really stood out is that the support has continued even after the installation, with the team still providing helpful feedback and guidance now that the system is up and running. Just had a battery installed in my garage by the team at RenewCo Solar and the whole experience was easily a 5-star job. From the first consultation through to the final install, the communication was clear and professional. The installers arrived on time, worked efficiently, and kept everything neat and organised throughout the job. What really stood out was the attention to detail. The battery was mounted cleanly in the garage, all cabling was run and secured neatly, and they made sure everything looked tidy and safe once the system was finished. They also took the time to walk me through how the battery works and how to monitor it, which was really helpful. You can tell the team takes pride in their work. Edit: The inverter was fixed and our power has only gone out briefly once since. It took far too long with us having daily power outages but thank goodness it's fixed. I never received a phone call back from voicemail to RenewCo. They only contact my husband - it took me writing a review and my husband finally calling them to demand they come the next day that they finally came out to fix it. The inverter was set to an incorrect number and the guys who came out to fix it said they'd been dealing with the same issue at houses all week. My husband has been receiving calls from the company about my review yet no one contacted me at any point during this ordeal or after to talk about it. I upped my review to three stars as my husband is sick of the phone calls about my one star review. *** Unfortunately we’re having really big power issues with the Sigen battery system installed by this company about 6-7 weeks ago. Renewco have been notified but apparently us losing power 10+ times every evening is not a priority for them to send someone out. I personally left a voicemail Friday night and as of Wednesday night, they have not called me back. My husband reached them by phone however they said they’d put in a maintenance request and we are yet to hear anything further. They actually told my husband they were going to see if they could fix without having to come out. The post install customer service is really lacking in our experience. Our issue is when the battery drains to our minimum threshold so after a cloudy day or night time hits and it didn’t refill enough, it just cuts in and out on repeat. We’ve had Ausgrid out who confirmed there were no issues. Ausgrid’s service was wonderful coming out the next morning and do a thorough check on our place and street. We’ve had calls with our energy company to see if there is anything they can do. Everyone else has been helpful so far except RenewCo. It took four months from time we paid the deposit to time they were available to install. I wish we’d just gone elsewhere. In the time it’s taken to write this review, our power has gone out three times.
