Rating is not reflective of the level of customer service or the quality of the job done by Umut, the tradesman, who was informative and did a good job. The reason for the low rating is that the overall experience was soured by an additional charge. Umut removed an existing kitchen mixer, to be replaced with one I supplied. Unfortunately it was missing parts which is not at all their fault. Umut was unable to reinstall the old mixer as it was damaged (by a previous installer, not by him). Umut and I decided together to source the same one from Reece. I was charged an additional $1100 inc GST to source and install the mixer. The cost of the mixer was $498 inc GST, so the additional $602 was simply for him to go pick it up from Reece Villawood, which was a 45 min return trip. The original quote already included install of the same mixer. I felt unable to contest this as I was over a barrel and would otherwise be left with no functional kitchen mixer. This cost came from higher up and not Umut who was fantastic otherwise. Overall I am feeling disappointed as I felt taken advantage of due to the tricky situation.

Saved my 96 year old mother in law from a catastrophe when her hot water system inside a cupboard in her apartment started leaking and could’ve caused an electrical fire! Kameron the business manager quickly contacted one of his plumbers and efficiently got young Max to the apartment! All this was done after hours! Max arrived on time (after a frantic call when the situation was discovered!) and quickly assessed the problem and offered the solutions. He was a fantastic communicator and explained everything to my daughter (who was home at the time). He efficiently removed the tree roots from the sewer pipe and then checked the pipe all the way up the driveway to ensure we wouldn't have more issues. Max's professionalism and calm manner helped the stressful situation immensely. Max did a wonderful job, we are so appreciative of his help!

I asked them to come out to quote for the unblocking of our shower. The quote came back at $231 for a bottle of Mo Flo Drain Cleaner. The cost of this online is around $50. The rest of the quote was for plunging which was $369. One bottle of acid and using a plunger for over $600. When I asked why the bottle of acid was 5 times the cost of retail they said it was because of labour however the labour was included in the second item and this was only for the bottle of acid. Now I know why plumbers drive Bentleys. Went to Bunnings this afternoon and now fixed with a 1 litre bottle of Draino. EDIT: Your reply is AI - please use an actual person to respond next time.
