Homeowners, be aware and stay away from this business at all costs, or you risk losing thousands of dollars like I did. I have reported the matter to the regulator and am pursuing it further with FairTrading and other legal avenues. In summary, this is a business that signs a contract and does not honour the same contract they have signed with you. With this level of negligence‌, it will be life long regretful decision to even consider these guys. The business proudly ignored my just requests and failed to compensate for the extensive financial damage they have caused me.

Would put negative stars if I could System doesn’t work. Battery draws from the grid instead of saving power. Three blown street fuses and Energex said it’s likely the system. We’re now paying MORE than before solar, over $200/week, and have been chased by debt collectors while waiting for solar harbor to respond. 7 Months of calls and emails ignored. No one has come to fix it. Manager had no idea about our case. Would not recommend

I first had my solar panels installed by Solar Harbour in 2017, and more recently upgraded the system with additional panels and a battery. On both occasions, the installation process was seamless and completed to a high standard. In a market where many companies frequently appear and disappear, Solar Harbour has been established for a long time, consistently providing reliable support and advice. From the initial installation through to the recent upgrade, I have always received professional and helpful guidance. Arun, in particular, offered valuable advice in selecting the right system to suit our needs and budget. Their pricing has also been very competitive, making the overall experience even more positive. I would highly recommend Solar Harbour for anyone considering solar installation or upgrades.

Very disappointing experience. Most communication was done through WhatsApp, and throughout the process every request I raised was acknowledged and agreed to in writing. Each time I asked for specific inclusions, corrections, or wording changes, I was told it would be updated. The problem was that when revised proposals came through, key agreed items repeatedly failed to appear in the actual document. This created a very uncomfortable feeling that unless you carefully checked every line, you could easily sign something that did not fully reflect what had been discussed. After detailed discussions and clear confirmation that pricing had been agreed and installation could be completed before 1 May, an updated proposal then arrived with a major price increase, taking the total to $27,500. The explanation given was that the earlier offer was no longer available, despite the fact pricing had already been discussed at length and relied upon during the decision process. By that point it felt less like a straightforward sales process and more like pressure to sign quickly before noticing key differences between what was promised and what was actually written. Trust is critical in a purchase of this size, and unfortunately that trust was lost.

Not trusting how batteries have evolved sofar I told him the detailed consumption of the house and I repetitively said "only install this if I no longer get a power bill". So I trusted the salesman that was to know more about this than I, and I'm still getting a power bill. Made sure I was quoted for a pad because I live on black soil and got two pavers instead. $100 a month worse off. This is now costing me more than I can afford. They got there money I suppose that's what really matters to them.

I’ve installed solar panels years ago and recently added a battery. I’ve referred to many friends and family and they’ve always been incredibly helpful and thoughtful. Their service, quality and delivery have been professional and satisfactory. They treat us and all our friends like family and provide excellent customer service. Update: 6pm - we finally have hot water ... nobody called me back until I wrote this review at lunch time today, about the disgusting service this company provides. I received a text at 3.36pm to say a technician will be out in 30 minutes to 1 hour. They ended up changing over our timer, how hard was that??? Our trouble started on 4th February (should have been 3rd but they were no shows) and now its 25th February and we finally have everything working at this stage ... touch wood!!! Hopefully this timer isn't faulty like the last one and we keep our hot water this time...... this experience has been a total shit show!!! If I could give less than 1 star I would. First the battery was installed on one day. On another day the old panels were removed and new ones installed. Then we had to chase them up again and wait for the battery people to come back and hook it all up. It took 4 days (weekend included) to have someone come back. ‐-------------------‐----------------------- Time: 1pm We have had our solar panel put in but we have lost our hot water for a week now. I have called every day this week yet nobody has bothered to help us. Bad Customer Service, installation issues, we have had nothing but problems ... they are not helpful at all.

Quality install at a competitive price, with the knowledge to tailor the perfect solar and battery system for our needs, definitely worth every cent. Problem is, they are BUSY, communication of delays could improve but irrespective they still managed the install within 2 weeks of signing the contract. Goodbye big energy bills!

Great at getting you signed up, but once issues appear, support disappears. Panels are misaligned and one section is loose unacceptable for a $10,000 installation. Months of delays and poor communication. I would not recommend.

I had my solar installed by this company back in 2020. Everything seemed good and fine at the time. I’ve since had roof leaks due to broken tiles caused by the installation. Ive reached out to this company on a number of occasions. No one ever calls me back. The communication is terrible. Just another company that has their money and wipes their hands clean of the situation and damage.
