Just spoke with customer service and it genuinely felt like they don’t need customers at all. No courtesy, no gratitude, and absolutely no effort to address concerns. The call was abruptly ended without any resolution, which is completely unacceptable. If your business is doing so well that you think you can treat clients like this, you might want to rethink that attitude. This was extremely unprofessional, disorganised, and outright rude. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was bad enough to warrant one. I will not be using your service again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Signed a battery installation contract on 16th March with an advised installation date of 6 April. As of now (21st April), there has been no installation progress. After weeks of follow-up, I received inconsistent information — customer service advised the order was cancelled, while the sales team stated approvals were still pending. I made multiple calls and was repeatedly promised callbacks from the installation team, but no callback was ever received. I also requested payment instructions for the deposit early on but never received any response. No formal written cancellation or clear explanation has been provided. This delay is particularly concerning as the government rebate deadline is 30 April 2026, and the lack of progress may result in financial loss. The matter has now been escalated to Access Canberra (case AC-01260663).

Do not deal with this company. They are scammers. Take your deposit, promise you the world before ghosting you for weeks on end. I signed with them mid February with install due mid/late March. After 3 weeks of calling and leaving messages, I went to their “Perth offices”. Funny, it’s just a big building with no SPN office. I went it one unnamed office and the lady said that they had a desk there but never really come in. After I put on a show and threatened legal action, I got an email advising that my order was cancelled and I would be getting my deposit back. One week later I finally got my deposit, only after threatening to go to A Current Affair. It is now going to cost more as the rebates have lowered Avoid them at all cost 1 star is too high of a score but they don’t have a negative -10

Absolutely terrible experience with Solar Power Nation / Josh Solar power nation Sydney. I paid a $500 deposit in December and after taking my money, they completely ignored me for months. From December until April, there was almost no communication. No replies to emails, no updates, no proper customer service, and impossible to get hold of anyone. Once they got the deposit, it felt like they didn’t care at all. I waited around 4–5 months for absolutely nothing. Just wasted time, stress, and frustration. Only after chasing them constantly and deciding to cancel did they ask for my bank details to refund the deposit. This company caused me months of delay and wasted my valuable time. Very unprofessional, unreliable, and disrespectful to customers. They act interested until they get your deposit, then disappear. I would strongly warn others to be very careful before dealing with this company. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, stay away. Not recommended at all.

I am not happy with the service they provided. I got a quote and thought I was only need to wait for the installation. But not any response since I rang them after 2 weeks. They told me I haven’t given them my information which I already gave them the first day I contacted them. It was absolutely ridiculous. I was told that I have to wait for the approval, but I didn’t get any response for a week. I had to contact them again. They said they will call me back and nobody did like they always do. They have wasted me a month, so I couldn’t get the rebate. It’s absolutely disgusting

The sales team and installation electricians did a great job, every single time. I have used Solar Power Nation three times for different jobs (solar panels and battery) and have realised that number one they have the best price in the industry and number two the installations have gone smoothly every single time. There have been no issues whatsoever. Would highly recommend. I would highly recommend it to friends and family. Their service has been exceptional. Do not waste your time with anyone else. This review should be a testament to the fact that on a recurring basis for different jobs these guys have consistantly had the best prices, installations and customer service. There is a good reason that cricket legend Michael Clarke is there brand ambassador.

Installed the solar battery 3 days ago. We tried a few other installers but none was able to install the battery before end of April. Then through a friend who pointed us to SPN. I spoke with Henry re our requirement & to my surprise that SPN was able to install the battery plus a very reasonable price! Henry was very pleasant & quick to answer all my questions; all paper works were completed within a week & the installation was scheduled less than 1 week. We are very blessed to have Ali as our installer & his partner Nashman. Ali was very knowledgeable, customers focused & helpful! He advised us on choosing location of the battery, explained how the coupling of both the inverters work etc. He was very professional in his work & the completed installation looks amazing, clean & perfect with not a single wiring showing!! He even advised us on how to install a Sun shade to protect the battery from the hot afternoon Sun! The adminstration department took a while to send through some of the paper work & lacking a bit in communication post installation! All in all we had a pleasant experience with SPN esp with Ali the installer who's amazing to deal with! Will recommend SPN - request Ali as the installer 👍🏼
