Warning: Don’t be misled by this company’s overall 4.7 rating. Before making a decision, take a close look at the negative reviews. They attract customers with very low prices, then outsource the work to subcontracted electricians. Although they claim to maintain quality control, you can probably guess how that works. This is essentially their business model. If you’re willing to take a gamble, it might be a reasonable option. But if you’re looking for high-quality installation, solid warranty support, and timely communication, I wouldn’t recommend them. If they can’t find available installers during peak periods, they tend to disappear completely—just as many reviews have pointed out.

AFETY WARNING: Solar Inverter Fire & Zero Accountability I am writing this to warn any homeowner considering using Solar Secure. On April 13th, the solar inverter they installed caught fire, nearly burning our family home to the ground. My daughter was forced to fight the fire herself to save our house until the Fire Brigade arrived and took over. Despite this being a life-threatening equipment failure and a clear breach of Australian Consumer Law safety guarantees, the company’s response has been appalling. They are hiding behind a "warranty expiry" that passed only weeks ago to avoid taking responsibility. They actually suggested they would charge us a "competitive rate" to inspect the damage caused by their own faulty equipment. A solar system should not be a fire hazard after only five years. This company has shown a complete lack of empathy and a total disregard for the safety of their customers. We have reported this to the ACCC, the Clean Energy Council, and the Electrical Safety Office. Avoid this company if you value the safety of your home and family.
