Sydney Tools Five Dock

While I’ve had great experiences with one of the staff members, I’m really disappointed with how things are being handled at a higher level. I’ve spent thousands on tools for my work, yet when it comes to a $30 spray bottle that failed after just two uses, it suddenly becomes an issue. It’s now been five months of “we don’t know” and “they aren’t telling us anything.” Five months of refusing to provide a replacement or even a credit for an item that was clearly faulty from the moment it entered my workshop. This isn’t about $30, it’s about the principle. Why would I risk spending thousands more with a company that treats customers this way over such a simple, obvious issue? I’ve already started purchasing from competitors, and I genuinely wish I had done so sooner. To make matters worse, I continue to receive promotional emails despite unsubscribing multiple times. It feels like the only time this company is responsive is when it wants more money. Once they have it, you’re on your own.

Store Manager Alex Moore was extremely helpful in assisting me on my start-up journey as a cabinetmaker. His knowledge was extensive and he guided me on the purchase of the Makita LS002GM201-B 40v drop/compound mitre saw. He was polite and efficient in serving me and also offered advice on the next bit of essential kit - an 40v Makita track saw. The experience was extremely poor. When my high-pressure floor cleaning machine broke down and I came to this store, they told me that I would have to take it to a very distant base for repair. They also asked me where I wanted to have it repaired through online consultation. As a result, for half a month, I didn't receive a clear reply. They said they would ask me to bring the machine to this store for repair again. Every time, I didn't get an accurate response. It was truly disappointing. After my deposit was used up, I will never go to this kind of place for consumption again.
