Now a 67 year old woman who suffered from severe menopausal symptoms, I finally found in 2015, relief (10 years ago) when I chanced upon the Women’s Health and Research Institute in Sydney. It changed my life and sanity! Living in far North Queensland there were few options in medical care in that area. I highly recommend the their services.

Dr Yasmin Tan was very dismissive of my three-year chronic issue, stating that it was nothing as was not actively symptomatic on the day of the appointment. I left the consultation quite distressed, particularly given the cost involved, and felt belittled and unheard. I now have photo evidence of my symptoms but should not have needed it to prove the episodic nature of my issue.
